Prize Definition Rules
Each Market Unit will have own ranking and prizes only if there are at least 5 teams. Market Units with less than 5 competing teams may be clustered (e.g. to "Rest of EMEA+DACH"). If and which Market Units will be clustered will be decided by Challenge Management. Challenge points are counting only if approved by Enabler in the Team Profile and coming from Delivered Tasks in time by completion date stated in the Task Description document.
Prizes are cumulative, one team may win more prizes.

* This prize is reserved for net New VARs that signed PE contract in 2011 and are active and operational in PRM by passing L1 eLearning (product authorized) within 2011. Teams must complete Tasks 1b, 2a, 3a, 3d and 4b to qualify for this prize.
** This prize is reserved for Partners that perform in 7 defined tasks focusing on a selected point solution indicated when registering in the team profile. Mandatory tasks are 1b (Business plan), 2a (Marketing plan), 1 out of 2d (New Name Seminar) or 2e (New Name Marketing campaign) as lead gen activities, 3a (value proposition), 3c (Winning against competition), 3d (Compelling demo), 4c (References). Eligible point solutions are business applications out of the LoB and BA&T portfolio and can be major products (e.g. CRM, HCM, ...) or smaller products (e.g. BCM, BPC, Payroll, ...). Pure BI is not eligible. By meeting these prize criteria, Partners will be planning specifically to address LE customers. The score of the 7 tasks mentioned above plus the scores from the team's 3 best other tasks count towards the total score for this prize.
Examples and Special Consideration
If a team is first in EMEA+DACH it will certainly be also first in their Market Unit. So 1 team WILL FOR SURE WIN 2 Prizes and 5000 Euro.
Whenever there is a tie, i.e. 2 or more teams having same score in a EMEA+DACH or Market Unit, Special prizes or ranking, then the team with the higher absolute Partner Revenue until June 2012 will lead in positioning.
If 4 teams on EMEA+DACH level (e.g. team A, B, C, D) have 250 points in ranking but A has higher revenue than B, than C and than D, then the final winners will be first A, second B, third C, excluding D from prizes and recognitions.
The Point Solution Seller 2012 prize and the 2011 New Recruited Partner prize are cumulative (e.g. partner can be regular MU winner + point solution winner).
Each 2500 euro prize has to be used for funding partner enablement activity.
Enablement Vouchers for EMEA partners
The EMEA teams participating in the Challenge 2012 will also obtain Enablement vouchers for Partner University offered Enablement Sessions by achieving the following scores:
- 100-149 points: 1 Voucher as reduced participation fee by 250 Euro
- 150-199 points: 2 Vouchers as reduced participation fee by a total of 500 Euro
- 200+ points: 3 Vouchers as reduced participation fee by a total of 750 Euro
The vouchers will be given out after the Challenge 2012 is finished and can be used as payment for Enablement sessions on EMEA Partner University only.
Use the winner logo for promotion

For example, as Rest of EMEA winner in the Best Performance Challenge 2011 Detaysoft from Turkey are using the logo as a banner in their email signatures, within their corporate web site and also in the printed catalogues which are prepared for the upcoming SAP World Tour in Istanbul at the end of September 2011.
